After five years in the study cave that was university, I finally graduated and have begun to go out and see the world. A Melbourne native (officially I was born in Sydney but no one needs to know that), I have travelled extensively around Australia, visited every capital city in the country as well as driven the dreaded drive from Adelaide to Perth across the sparsely populated, no tree plane of the Nullarbor.
Ever since I got over the fairy tale of wanting to be an Astronaut (which lasted until I was 20), I've always thought that writing would be the next best job for me. Writing allows me to go to places and see different aspects of life while sharing my experiences with others.
Having finished studying I've ventured out to South America and the USA to see how people live in countries that are so vastly different to Australia. There are some countries that have differences that are easy to spot. Nearly everyone can recognize these differences. But it is the countries that look similar on a basic level, yet are so vastly different that interests me. After visiting the USA, I can see the similarities between my home country, but they are greatly outweighed by the differences that until you have been there, are hard to see.
Currently I'm living in Rome, Italy learning about my heritage, but also watching this historic, religious center of the world operate in a day to day sense. Traveling is one of my passions and hopefully I will be able to share with you some of the amazing experiences I have been so lucky to be apart of.
